Every brand has its own story, its own rhythm and its own starting point. Because of that, our process is never one size fits all. It flexes to meet you where you are, while always providing structure and direction.

We often begin with an in-depth brand strategy workshop, as they uncover the purpose, audience, positioning & personality of your brand. That said, we understand that not every brand needs this level of depth at the very start of their journey. At the very least, every project begins with a thoughtful briefing call.

01 Discovery

After you've decided we're the partner to bring your vision to life & sent an enquiry through. We will get back to you within 72 hours to book a chat if the project is a good fit for us. This isn't an in-depth interview with 100 quick fire questions, just a friendly chit chat. From there we'll put together a project proposal, design contract with a 50% upfront deposit, and a detailed questionnaire to help us understand your brand inside out.

02 Laying the Foundations

The most important part of our process — this is where we all get aligned. We'll run a 3-hour brand strategy workshop via Google Meet or in-person, covering your brand purpose, mission, competitor analysis, market positioning, target audience, and brand personality — how you feel, sound and show up. This results in a strategy deck, creative brief and 2-3 moodboards, making sure we're all on the same page before any design work begins.

03 Creation

This is where we'll spend most of our time, rightfully so. Exploring every possible angle for your brand: logos, type, colour, art direction, layouts & compositions. This typically spans 2-3 weeks. We'll present two concept directions at around 70% completion, giving you the space to see the potential in each direction before we take one further.

04 Refine & Perfect

Once you've decided on a direction, we will then spend some time exploring this identity further. Refining every detail, perfecting the balance and taking it from 70% to 100%! We'll also create tangible brand assets and compositions, perfect the logo with grids and structure, and build out additional deliverables like proposals, business cards and social media headers. The remaining 50% payment is collected at this stage.

05 Brand Guidelines and Package Up

Here we will package up all your files and create your new Brand Guidelines — an interactive Figma document containing your strategy, logo usage rules, typography, colour specifications and design rules. This serves as the reference point for anyone who works with your brand going forward. All final assets and files will be packaged in the correct formats.

06 Support

And finally, we'll do a final handover to walk you through the guidelines, answer any questions and make sure you feel completely confident using your new brand. We'll also schedule a follow-up check-in one month after sign-off. Our absolute biggest value throughout this whole process is to remain as ongoing support for you — we're always here for anything you need.
